B9 Developments

Crescent invested in B9 Developments Ltd in 2018. Its trading subsidiary was Natural World Products Limited, the largest recycler of household organic waste on the island of Ireland

Following the investment round, which was led by Crescent, the business underwent a major expansion of its operations, growing its employment, revenues and profitability significantly in the process.

The business was sold in July 2021 in an MBO led by its CEO Colm Warren which was funded by equity from MML Growth Capital Partners Ireland, an Irish private equity investor and 57 Stars, a fund of funds manager based in Washington DC.
