Toughglass was established in 1889 to produce toughened safety glass for the construction and transport industries.
In 1997 Crescent Capial invested in the business to finance entry into the curved safety glass market. The group now produces both flat and curved safety glass from its two plants in Kilkeel Co Down, servicing customers throughout the British Isles and Europe.
The group has sales of circa £7m per annum and employs over 130 staff.
